About us
The History of Ultimate Gaming University Ultimate Gaming University was founded in 2014 by two 7th grade students, who are now in eighth grade. The community was originally made for the school to talk about any game they liked. Now in the year of 2015, they have a growing community of members worldwide.
Soon after they finished learning how to make a functional Google Site, they decided to make their own on October 16, 2014. It was a success, people in the school started heading over to the website. It wasn't extremely popular, but it did have quite the gossip. The site lasted 6 months before it was deleted and recreated. On January 18th, 2015, they created a Plug.dj community. Plug.Dj is a program where you connected with people around the world and played music. Their community was well-used until Plug.dj didn't reach the donation goals and shut down. By April 21st,, 2015, the first Google Site was replaced by another. This one was fairly different- it was more organized, had new features, etc. Although the first site was deleted, the template of it exists on the Home page's blog. This site is still up and running to this very day. At this point, many applications to become staff and help out was submitted. Visit it at https://sites.google.com/site/ultimategaminguniversity/ On April 23rd, 2015, another website was created. This time, it was for Enjin, a free-to-start website creator used mainly for games like Minecraft. It was highly unpopular, only having a total of two members due to lack of introduction. Now Ultimate Gaming University has an official Weebly website. This website is unblocked at schools and has many features Google Sites doesn't have. Enjoy your time at Ultimate Gaming University. |
